Yoga With Alessandra

I began practicing yoga at my local yoga studio in 2011. As I was completing my certifications in plant-based nutrition and health coaching, I realized that yoga and nutrition worked synergistically to promote health and well-being. Yoga helped me reduce my stress levels, improve my digestion, connect with myself, cultivate a positive mindset, practice presence and mindfulness, and improve my relationship with food and my body. With a desire to further explore yoga and to share the gift of yoga with my clients and community, I completed a 200hr yoga teacher training at Mula Yoga in Toronto.  I now specialize in workshops that fuse yoga, nutrition and lifestyle practices to empower students to embody true well-being. My classes are creatively sequenced and emphasize both mindful movement and rejuvenating stillness. It’s my mission to help students cultivate mindfulness on that mat which they can apply to their daily lives off the mat, and also to connect students with one another. Community is something that is very important to me, and I love bringing people together to practice.

Self-Care Sunday Flow: Sundays @ 3:00-4:00pm
Take time for you! End off your week with a soulful Sunday afternoon yoga practice. A creative sequence postures that are linked with the breath, this vinyasa flow class will help you develop strength, flexibility, and balance. All levels are welcome!

Restore & Reset: Sundays @ 4:00-5:00pm
This Sunday afternoon restorative practice is the perfect way to reset for the week ahead. Relax into rejuvenating still poses that are supported by blocks, bolsters, and blankets. Accompanied by mindful breathing techniques, this sequence of postures is designed to help you let go of stress and tension, and experience deep relaxation.
